Fire Extinguisher Sales and Service Technician We are now seeking an experienced and customer focussed Fire Extinguisher Sales and Service Technician to join our team covering London and surrounding areas. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Installing and servicing Fire Extinguishers.
  • Planning allocated work to ensure customers within your area are seen in a timely manner, ensuring maximum efficiency and best use of resources.
  • Building professional and effective relationships with a wide client base.
  • Effectively communicating with our customers to ensure fire risks are minimised and ensuring compliance with British Safety Standards.
  • Setting up new maintenance contracts with our customers, collecting cash payments and upselling/ cross selling where appropriate.

We are looking for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Technician who has the drive and enthusiasm to provide an outstanding service to our customers every day. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience maintaining fire extinguishers, ideally 2 years plus.
  • Good knowledge of current standards and legislation – BS5306.
  • BAFE qualification.
  • Ability to work independently as this is a field based role.
  • Capability to problem solve.
  • Ability to spot additional areas of sales opportunity.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Customer Accounts Administrator We are currently seeking to recruit a full time Customer Accounts Administrator based at our offices in Nazeing, Essex

The purpose of this role is to manage client accounts and invoicing. Responsibilities and key duties include:

Job Summary:

  • Invoicing jobs for our field engineers
  • Liaising with engineers regarding works completed, pricing, customer details and paperwork etc.
  • Producing action reports and send on to customers
  • Liaising with the service desk
  • Assisting engineers with any queries
  • Looking after Key Accounts
  • Checking and filing of paperwork
  • Raising credit notes on Sage 200
  • Taking credit card payments from customers
  • Collecting cheque and cash payments from engineer

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Fantastic customer focus, with the ability to resolve customer queries.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
  • A high degree of professionalism and resilience.

Office Administrator We are currently seeking to recruit a full time Office Administrator based at our offices in Nazeing, Essex

The core purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to existing team members in what is a busy Fire Extinguisher Department with Morgan Fire Protection.

The key responsibilities within your role will be to:

  • Taking service desk calls from clients and potential clients and dealing with queries
  • Ensuring that the Engineer workload is assigned and covered for all existing and new jobs
  • Liaising with engineers and key stakeholders on a day to day basis
  • Managing of client contracts both new and existing
  • Written and verbal quoting new and existing business
  • Producing documentation and reports
  • Providing general administration support to members of the Fire Extinguisher team
  • Assisting with any ad hoc administration tasks as needed.

Our ideal candidate will have worked in a busy Administration role previously and will have:

  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Structured in approach to work.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with excellent customer liaison skills are essential
  • Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.
  • Personality – Energy, Drive and Enthusiasm.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Computer literate, must understand Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills, and go that extra mile to ensure the projects run smoothly. Training will be provided on the company’s bespoke customer database.

You will be office based, working Monday – Friday.

Fire Risk Assessors We are currently seeking to recruit Fire Risk Assessors, to cover Central London, Essex, Home Counties and surrounding areas.

Applicants must possess a recognised Fire Safety Qualification such as NEBOSH, FPA or FIA and should have at least 3 years of experience conducting fire risk assessments. Ideally all candidates should possess a sound knowledge of Fire legislation in the UK as well as a good understanding of BS58:39. Working closely with our head office in Nazeing, Essex, work is generally carried out in London and surrounding counties, however, technicians will be required to cover a wider area as workload dictates.

The role of Fire Risk Assessor will include:

  • Visiting our customers sites and conducting fire risk assessments
  • Generating detailed fire risk assessment reports
  • Residential and commercial units
  • Sending thorough reports to the risk assessment department to review
  • Maintaining internal fire safety checks at Morgan Fire offices
  • Identifying issues and proposing solutions for our customers
  • You will need to be able to work independently as you will mainly be field based
  • Full UK manual driving licence required.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognised Fire Safety Qualification such as NEBOSH, FPA or FIA
  • Previous experience conducting fire risk assessments.
  • Sound knowledge of Fire Legislation in the UK and a good understanding on BS58:39.
  • Ability to work independently as this is a field based role.

Fire Extinguisher Service Technicians

Morgan Fire Protection Ltd has provided quality fire protection services throughout the UK for over 30 years.
We are currently seeking to recruit qualified Fire Extinguisher Service Technicians. Please note, there may be the requirement to work further afield, if the workload dictates.
The role of Fire Extinguisher Service Technician will include:

  • Servicing Fire Extinguishers, including, where appropriate, removing to discharge contents and refil.
  • Removing fire extinguishers that are no longer fit for purpose and replacing them with models that comply with British Safety Standards.
  • Liaising closely with clients to ensure their fire risks are minimised and ensuring compliance with British Safety standards.
  • Planning allocated work to ensure customers within your area are seen in a timely manner.
  • Recording work and findings on a personal digital device (training will be given).
  • Liaising with the Service Desk Manager, as required.
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

As a Fire Extinguisher Service Technician, you will need to be able to work independently as you will mainly be field based. Full training and support will be given by Head Office.

Dry Riser Technicians

We are interested to hear from individuals with a proven fire service or engineering background. Using Morgan Fire’s own dry riser tenders, the successful applicants will visit our customers sites and carry out duties including wet and flow testing, visual inspections and private hydrant testing. A knowledge of health & safety in relation to dry riser testing will be an advance, however training can be provided.

Technicians will be based at our Essex headquarters, and work is generally carried out in London and Home Counties, however successful applicants will be required to cover a wider area as work schedule dictates.
