CURRENT VACANCIES

Morgan Fire Protection Ltd is a major provider of fire protection to businesses throughout the UK and has 30 years industry experience.

We are now seeking a full time Health & Safety Administrator, based at our head office in Nazeing, Essex on a thirteen month contract to cover maternity leave.

The main tasks for the successful applicant will be:

· Complete potential supplier / client forms and supply relevant H&S and insurance documents.
· Manage company accreditations and trade memberships by updating and supplying information.
· Maintain ISO45001 accreditation and assist in carrying out H&S internal audits.
· Maintain Staff training / audit matrix and staff training files, includes issuing e-learning courses via online platform and scanning of certificates, audit sheets and liaising with staff.
· Maintain CSCS cards.
· Maintain Sub-Contractors matrix, issue and check sub-contractor questionnaires and relevant documentation for approval.
· Maintain Company RAMS and COSHH assessments.
· Organise, attend H&S Meetings and take minutes.
· Track review dates and organise internal H&S audits with H&S consultant and relevant staff.
· Record accidents and hold company Accident Book.
· Monitor and display H&S information on company noticeboards.
· Maintain Company maintenance records and certificates for gas, air con, alarms etc.Excellent attention to detail, IT literacy and great communication skills are essential.

Candidate should ideally have previous experience within a Health and Safety role. A NEBOSH qualification would an advantage for this position but not essential.

Training will be provided.

Hours of work: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

Fire Extinguisher Service Technicians

Morgan Fire Protection Ltd has provided quality fire protection services throughout the UK for over 30 years.
We are currently seeking to recruit qualified Fire Extinguisher Service Technicians. Please note, there may be the requirement to work further afield, if the workload dictates.
The role of Fire Extinguisher Service Technician will include:

  • Servicing Fire Extinguishers, including, where appropriate, removing to discharge contents and refil.
  • Removing fire extinguishers that are no longer fit for purpose and replacing them with models that comply with British Safety Standards.
  • Liaising closely with clients to ensure their fire risks are minimised and ensuring compliance with British Safety standards.
  • Planning allocated work to ensure customers within your area are seen in a timely manner.
  • Recording work and findings on a personal digital device (training will be given).
  • Liaising with the Service Desk Manager, as required.
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

As a Fire Extinguisher Service Technician, you will need to be able to work independently as you will mainly be field based. Full training and support will be given by Head Office.

Dry Riser Technicians

We are interested to hear from individuals with a proven fire service or engineering background. Using Morgan Fire’s own dry riser tenders, the successful applicants will visit our customers sites and carry out duties including wet and flow testing, visual inspections and private hydrant testing. A knowledge of health & safety in relation to dry riser testing will be an advance, however training can be provided.

Technicians will be based at our Essex headquarters, and work is generally carried out in London and Home Counties, however successful applicants will be required to cover a wider area as work schedule dictates.

Salary £ negotiable. 42.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 8.30-5.30pm.
