His Majesty King Charles III has awarded the Royal Warrant to Morgan Fire Protection as a purveyor of fire protection services.
Described as a unique mark of recognition, this is the second Royal Warrant bestowed on the company. The warrant was previously held continuously since 1910 under the name of Merryweather & Sons*, awarded by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Now, following a review by the Royal Household, a new Royal Warrant has been issued by King Charles III.
A Royal Warrant of Appointment allows Morgan Fire to use the Royal Arms in connection with their business and is granted for three years from 2025 as a mark of recognition for companies that have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household for at least five of the last seven years.
The warrants system began in the 15th century, as a way of celebrating suppliers of goods and services to Britain’s royal households.
Managing Director, Keith Kingsley said:
“We’re extremely proud to be granted the Royal Warrant which we feel is a true mark of recognition for our service and commitment to the Royal Household.”
Kingsley adds that being awarded the Royal Warrant involves “a hugely in-depth audit, encompassing all business areas and including services provided to the Royal Household. There is a big focus on sustainability, management, and staff value and engagement.”
“Every member of staff understands the importance of this and we’re delighted to continue this tradition.”
